The Matric Centre runs a large scholarship programme for learners with identified potential in Mathematics.

Scholarship exams are written in July and August each year for the Grade 10 and Grade 11 intake of the following year. Every learner in the Matric Centre must in addition to their academic subjects study Computer Literacy, Entrepreneurship and Life Skills; which incorporates a large careers guidance programme.

The success of the Matric Centre has been outstanding and in the 2007 Matric results our Grade 12’s (including the re-writes) achieved a 97,4% pass rate with 68% of our learners gaining University endorsements. The Matric Centre is the mechanism for learners with potential to bridge their gaps and succeed in the Engineering, Medical and Business Fields.

The Matric Centre accommodate the new National Senior Certificate and offers the fundamentals plus core subjects in Business Commerce and Management Studies and Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Computer and Life Sciences.
