ISASA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS FOR GRADE 8 AND 10 / 2010

Scholarship applications for 2010 are now open.  Any interested learners or parents can download the application form from the ISASA website (www.isasa.org) or ask for one at our office.

Only learners wishing to complete the National Senior Certificate examination with English First Language, Mathematics, Science, Business or Computer Studies as part of the National Senior Certificate subject choice should apply.

Scholarships for new learners are only allocated to learners going into Grade 8 or 10.  Should you want your child to repeat Grade 8 or 10 the  parent/sponsor/guardian must submit a letter requesting this.  The letter and the application forms must be submitted together. 

The closing date for applications is 19 August 2009. Completed application forms should be delivered or posted to ISASA (PO Box 87430, Houghton, 2041) before the 19 August 2009.  Candidates who qualify will be invited by ISASA to write a test.  Venue, date and time will be confirmed by ISASA.

FEEPAYING LEARNERS
Learners interested in enroling for Grade 8 and 9 must contact (011) 787 6460 and arrange an appointment with Mrs Montjane.

Learners interested in enroling for Grade 11 and 12 and those interested in joining us as a feepaying learner in Grade 10 next year must write the entrance assessments (Maths and English) on Saturday, 5 September 2009 at 09h00.  Alternative date is Monday, 28 September 2009 at 09h00.

The assessments will be written at the Matric Centre, Maclyn Building, 7 June Avenue, Bordeaux, Randburg. 

Learners to bring  :
a)    R50,00 to write assessment
b)    Birth Certificate or any form of ID
c)    Latest School Report
d)    Stationery – no calculator
