Sekolo sa Borokgo is a non-profit, independent school, a member of ISASA and registered with the Gauteng Department of Education.

Sekolo sa Borokgo was established in 1993 and consists of a co-educational independent Middle School (Grades 8 – 9), a Matric Centre (Grades 10 – 12) and a PreUniversity College offering Cambridge University A-Levels (Post-Matric).    

The Middle School is based in Blairgowrie, whilst the Matric Centre and Pre-University College are based in Bordeaux, Randburg.

 All of the prescribed Learning Areas are offered at the Middle School where we strive to develop a work ethic in our learners which enables them to function in a strong academic environment.  Many learners are able to proceed to the Matric Centre in Grade 10 on Corporate Scholarships.

The focus of the Matric Centre programme is to provide top academic education and development in Maths, Science and English 1^st Language. A limited number of other mainstream subjects are offered to complete the curriculum.

In addition to academics, we offer Computer Literacy, Life Skills, choir, drama, dance, chess and a supervised in-house sports programme. Throughout the year there re various camps, trips and outings thet serve to bring the curriculum to life. 

Our Matric  Pass Rate since 2005 is 97,75% with a University Entrance average of 71%.

THE MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMPUS : BLAIRGOWRIE

We participate in the Maths and Science Olympiads and the Science Expo as well as the National (Di Konokono) Eisteddfod and The President’s Award.  A computer-based Maths and English extension programme is used for learner extension and support.

The Pre-University College offers high quality academic education for completion of the Cambridge University IGCSE and A Level qualifications and is ideally suited to students wishing to improve on their NSC result or to attain a valid NSC Exemption for University Entrance as well as a fully recognized international qualification that will give access to institutions of Higher Education throughout the world.

Our international student body represents students from many countries.  For Pre-University College students who are studying away from home, we provide a ‘Homestay’ accommodation service.
